E-Commerce Storefront, Cart and Checkout Wireframe

Explore an editable e-commerce prototype from product discovery and details to cart and checkout. Review pricing, quantity, delivery and payment-state requirements.

Introduction

Follow a four-page storefront flow from product discovery to product details, cart and checkout. The linked screens make the buying journey inspectable before inventory, payment and order services exist. Product data and totals are representative; no real purchase or payment occurs.

Make the buying decision and total clear

Review what a shopper needs at each step: a useful product reference, descriptive content, price, quantity, delivery assumptions and an order summary. Keep secondary actions from competing with the next step. Adapt the structure for a small online store, a product catalog or a retail concept.

For a mobile discovery-led journey, compare the travel app example. For appointment rather than product selection, use booking.

Inspect and adapt the document

Open the YAML to inspect page ownership, element IDs and the links between storefront, product, cart and checkout. Make a focused change such as adding a delivery-cost caption, clarifying a cart action or changing one product label. Validate before applying and keep existing navigation intact.

Displayed product details are not automatically bound to an inventory feed. Cart values and checkout fields do not establish a working order model or payment integration.

Design the states that affect trust

Add an empty cart, unavailable product, changed price, invalid delivery address, failed payment and successful-order state where relevant. State when stock and totals must be rechecked in the real application. Do not collect real card data in a prototype.

Tax, currency, shipping, refunds, security and payment compliance belong to implementation and domain review. Export .rvv for continued design work and PNG/SVG for stakeholder discussion. Use the wireframe review checklist before handoff.
