Mobile Travel and Booking App Wireframe

A portrait travel-booking flow with stay discovery, reservation details, and confirmation.

Introduction

FIELDNOTES follows a weekend stay from discovery to confirmation. Photography, generous touch targets, clear price breakdowns, and green accents give each portrait screen a consistent identity. The booking actions connect three separate pages; no real reservation or payment occurs.

Discovery, reservation and confirmation

Use the three portrait screens to discuss what a visitor needs before choosing a stay: a useful visual reference, understandable pricing and a reviewable booking summary. The page links show the proposed journey. The confirmation is fixed sample content rather than the result of a real reservation.

Adapt the pattern for accommodation, experiences or a service-discovery app. For a calendar-first journey, use the appointment booking wireframe.

Review mobile hierarchy and content length

Inspect page sizes, image placement, primary actions and text spacing in the YAML. Consider long place names, localized prices, different currencies and content that wraps. Mobile-width pages describe a composition; they do not generate responsive breakpoints or prove that every device fits.

Make a bounded edit such as clarifying a price label or moving a secondary action. Preserve page IDs and links, validate the draft and compare the result.

Add unavailable and interrupted journeys

Plan no matching stays, missing photos, unavailable dates, a changed price and a failed reservation. Give the user a clear way to change the search or return to review. Booking inventory, payments, refunds, notifications and stored traveler data require a production system.

Use invented traveler details in shared projects. For additional form steps, compare mobile onboarding; for the review process, use the UI states checklist.
