Everything you need to know about Vinyasa's Text-to-UI engine, AI Copilot, and visual editor workspace.

Vinyasa is an advanced, text-to-UI visual component builder and wireframing tool. Unlike other tools that generate static image pixels, Vinyasa uses structured text (YAML) as the single source of truth. This makes your UI completely editable, manageable, scalable, and extremely fast to load.

Traditional image-based AI tools generate static, non-editable binary images (pixels). Vinyasa generates structural YAML representations. Because the representation is pure text, token consumption is extremely low, rendering is near-instant, and developers can copy, modify, and hand off clean UI data directly to real code without redrawing.

Yes. Vinyasa is privacy-first and runs entirely in your local browser environment. Your projects, canvas states, and configurations are stored in your browser storage or exported directly to your computer. No data is stored on external databases.

Open the Code Editor tab in the left panel, configure your Gemini API Key from Google AI Studio, and prompt the Copilot to either generate a completely new screen layout or modify/style elements in your existing canvas design.

Vinyasa features multi-page capabilities. You can create multiple layout pages (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet presets) on an infinite canvas, manage their absolute X/Y positioning in the Workspace Settings panel, and easily organize them side-by-side.

To pan around the infinite canvas, hold down the Spacebar and drag the mouse, or click and drag using the middle mouse button. To zoom in or out, hold Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) and scroll your mouse wheel or swipe on the trackpad.

Yes! Select multiple elements on the canvas and press Ctrl + G (or Cmd + G) to group them. Press Ctrl + Shift + G to ungroup. In the code, grouped elements are nested inside a clean type: user-group array.

You can export your projects to structured .rvv JSON files, raw vector SVG formats (best for styling and scaling), or rasterized PNG images for quick mockups sharing.

Canvas components can be selected and deleted instantly using the Delete or Backspace key. Pages are protected from bulk deletions (like Ctrl + A) to prevent accidental loss; they can only be deleted via the Workspace Settings panel.
